I left Pasadena for a day, after one of the worst conferences in terms of social I've ever had. I think it is the high number of nerds and the low number of women present. On the other hand I met a couple of old friends that I expected to see.
The first, succulent GS (called "arrogance" by friends), has appeared on the first day, workshops. I think it was the only time in which I was able to block 5 seconds and kiss him affectionately. Throughout the rest of the conference I was avoided like the plague (or if they stood apart, leaning on his laptop, and I did not want to pull out of his autism). And to think that I would have liked to post here a picture of us hugging and smiling ...
The other meeting, which filled me with joy (and not just for fun), it was with Gilles (sometimes confusing initial write only). Old friend of the military's roommate for 10 months, a professor in Lens. He still remembered the pasta and potatoes cooked in various lengths in a winter Sunday. Completely out of context, but with him and the French have done the closure of the receipt; to the last drop, you can say.
is so hard to stay away. I did not expect. Now I discover that having a strong bond is like an anchor, and a return becomes even greater joy of the party. Share this joy in 2 is even more wonderful.
I ended up in Malibu for the past few days as the guest of B. and C. Amazing! All of this trip was a surprise, good or bad, but life on coast fills all the expectations. Hawaiian dancers, cocktails by the beach, fresh fish of the Pacific Ocean in front of huge and surfers who do nothing but talk of waves and fine, golden sand beaches, lobster tails. And the blonde ... hmmm .. Blondes. Blondes are really stupid!
